Rooms: Auditorium for Classes, Hall 1 for parties

Ages: Very broad range of ages from teens to 80's, the average probably being in the 30's, 40's and 50's.

Accessibility: Lake Merritt is a wheelchair and scooter accessible venue, with elevator, ramps and accessible bathrooms. No sign language facilities.

• Dance Parties: Next - "Dance for Love" - February 24th 2012 (4th Friday).

Trip the Light Fantastic is a Same Sex Dance School based in Oakland, CA, directed by 5 times North American Women's Same-Sex Ballroom Champion Zoe Balfour. We are dedicated to creating fun and exciting dance classes, parties and events for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community for the last 14 years.

We normally send two emails a month with information on our upcoming or current Monday and Sunday same-sex partner dance classes and Friday Special Dance Parties for the Queer Community and their friends.
