New Dance Series starting on September 7th 2008
- 10.30 am-11.30 am Adv Standard Ballroom with the graceful Alise Halbert and Jennifer
Davis. In May it will be Quickstep. Prerequisite 6 months intermediate ballroom and
teachers permission.
- 11.30 am-12.30 am Intermediate Standard -Intermediate Standard classes with Zoe and
Citabria. Prerequisite 6 months beginning standard. In May it will be Waltz.
- 12.30 pm-2 pm Beginning Standard -Beginning Standard classes with Zoe and Citabria.
In May it will be Tango.
- 2 - 3 pm Beginning Latin - Start to learn the sexy latin dances. In May it will be Cha Cha.
Taught by Zoe Balfour
2006 Gay Games medalists Zoe and Citabria will alternate teaching the beginning and
intermediate Standard classes
Location: Lake Merritt Dance Center at 200 Grand Avenue, Oakland
Cost: for one hour classes $12/class or $40/four weeks paid in advance, cost for 90
minutes classes $18/class or $60/4 weeks paid in advance.
No partner necessary, all classes will rotate partners and no experience necessary for
beginning classes.
